About the Author
Carolynn has spent a lifetime surrounded by words, from running a childhood "Library Club" in her Blue Mountains log cabin to decades working as a teacher-librarian.
Her debut historical fiction novel, An Unlikely Home, untangles the heavy weight of family secrets, belonging, and forbidden truths in 1960s Sydney - a story sparked by a heartbreaking conversation she overheard as a teenager.
Now retired, Carolynn writes from her high-rise Sydney apartment, balancing her passion for uncovering lost histories with a love for local theatre, cooking, and keeping pace with her seven grandchildren.
